Komuś brakuje słów- Someone lacks words

Brakuje mi słów- I lack words

Widzę coś pięknego, nie mogę tego opisać- I see something beautiful, I can't describe it

Coś jest okropne, brakuje mi słów- Something is terrible, I miss the words

Dać słowo- To give word

Ostateczna decyzja- The final decision

Jednym słowem (krótko mówić)- In a word (briefly speaking)

Innymi słowy (inaczej mówiąc)- In other words

Szkoda słów (nie warto mówić)- Waste one’s breath (not worth saying)

Kiedy mój syn się urodził byłem bardzo szczęśliwy i brakowało mi słów- When my son was born I was very happy and I missed the words

Dać słowo – To give the word

Dałem Ci słowo, że zrobię prezentację za tydzień- I gave you my word that I would make a Presentation in a week

Ostatnie słowo- Last word

To moje ostatnie słowo (negocjacje)- This is my last word (negotiation)

On jest jednym słowem idealny- He is in one word perfect

Irlandia innymi słowy to zielony kraj- Ireland, in other words, is a green country

Kiedy ktoś nie słucha co mówisz i robi co chce, szkoda słów- When someone does not listen to what you say and does what he wants, it's a waste of words
